"GROWING BEAUTIFUL DAVID AUSTIN AND HERITAGE ROSES" Presented by TINA DRAKE

Our April 7th meeting will feature Tina Drake. Tina will be sharing with us her passion for the history of growing roses. Tina’s rose collection is diverse, but her favorites are the David Austin and Antique roses. She gardens in the Mt. Dora area where the cold weather was powerful this winter. Please join us for a spectacular presentation on these classy roses. Its one program you won't want to miss. Remember to bring your Rose Care questions to the meeting so they can be answered by our consulting rosarians. GUESTS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME!!!

CFRS 2010 Rose Show at Leu Gardens 4/17/2010

On Saturday, April 17th ... The doors will be open to exhibitors at 6 am, Judging begins at 10 am. Show will be open to the public from 1 to 5 pm. Come and see all the beautiful blooms on display -- hundreds of varieties that grow well right here in Central Florida. Bring your camera, pen and note pad because you will want to write the names of your favorites. Cut roses will be available for purchase. Consulting Rosarians will be there to answer all your rose growing questions. During the Rose Show we will be featuring Consulting Rosarians (on the hour from 1 until 4), giving short “How To Grow Roses” presentations on the Garden House veranda. The event is FREE!!!
